Growing up in a family of music teachers profoundly shaped Hana’s early musical development, instilling a deep respect for musical heritage from a young age. This early immersion paved the way for a rigorous academic journey.
She pursued formal training in Arabic music and graduated with honors from Bait Al Oud in Abu Dhabi, widely recognized as one of the region’s leading institutions for traditional music education. Her time there solidified her technical foundation and expanded her mastery of the instrument.
Hana’s performing career is truly global, with international appearances spanning the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Lebanon, Algeria, Egypt, and Morocco. She has graced the stages of world-renowned venues, including the historical Carthage Theater (Tunisia), Koerner Hall (Canada), Pierre Boulez Hall (Germany), and the Opera House of Algiers.
In 2011, she gained wider public recognition as a semi-finalist on the hit television show Arabs Got Talent. Throughout her journey, her exceptional skill and artistic contributions have been celebrated with multiple national and international awards.
As a versatile collaborator, Hana has performed alongside world-class ensembles, including the prestigious Firdaus Orchestra in Dubai and the Barcelona Arab Orchestra in Spain.
In 2021, Hana released her highly anticipated debut album, MY MUSE, featuring a collection of original compositions for solo qanun. The album serves as a definitive showcase of her compositional approach, combining high technical mastery with a fresh, contemporary interpretation.
Her work is defined by an exquisite balance between technical precision, interpretive depth, and cultural awareness. While her music draws heavily from the wealth of the Arabic classical tradition, it seamlessly incorporates a personal, modern artistic voice that resonates with global audiences.
Alongside her active performing career, Hana is deeply committed to music education. She has shared her expertise as a faculty member at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Tunisia.
Today, she provides high-level private online qanun lessons to intermediate and advanced students worldwide. Additionally, she is frequently invited to lead specialized qanun masterclasses at prominent international festivals, such as the Cordes Méditerranéennes Festival in Hammamet (Tunisia) and the International Qanun Festival in Meknes (Morocco).
